When there is fresh snow falling on the ground, i would ideally love to photograph kids or families and their puppies enjoying the snow.

But, when the kids are at school and most people are at work, I enjoy taking pictures of birds.  At a time when you feel the whole place lacks color, they add that dash of color.  This is a White-breasted Nuthatch.

Photographing birds has taught me to be quick and ready with my camera, not to mention abundance of patience to get the shot i want.

Not only do you see birds but you also see the Squirrels come out to eat, the seeds that have dropped from the bird feeders and also look for acorns.  Here is an Eastern Gray Squirrel.
