In India most people go to the beach in the evenings, to enjoy the cool sea breeze and catch up with old friends or spend time with their family. There are several vendors who sell roasted or boiled peanuts

and one of my favorites – roasted corn.

I enjoyed watching the vendor fire up the “roaster”.  Fabulous sparks flying around due to the sea breeze while he was turning the handle to roast the corn.  The combination of cool sea breeze and warm roasted corn seasoned with salt and spice – Splendid!
